Instance Configuration

Certain platform-level settings cannot be modified by application administrators.

Certain platform-level settings cannot be modified by application administrators. They are controlled at the infrastructure level and require platform support to change. If you need any of the following adjusted, raise a support request.

Settings Managed by Support

Email service activation — the outbound email service can be enabled or suspended per instance. Note that the email service is automatically suspended when an instance is copied, to prevent unintended emails from non-production environments. To toggle this yourself using the provided process, see Enable or Disable the Email Service.

Timer interval configuration — the interval at which scheduled tasks run is a platform-level setting.

Instance timezone — the timezone used by the instance for scheduled tasks, daily processes, and retention policies is set at the platform level.

Outbound email sender address — by default, outbound emails use the format no-reply@mailer.<domain>.com. Support can configure the sender address to include your instance identifier, giving the format no-reply-<instanceid>@mailer.<domain>.com. This allows recipients and routing rules to identify which instance sent the email. It applies to outbound mail only and does not affect the inbound address configured for the instance.
