Configuration Application Reference

All configuration work is performed within the Configuration application.

All configuration work is performed within the Configuration application. This document lists the available configuration screens organised by module.

Screens are referenced throughout documentation using the format Module \> Screen, for example Layouts \> Modules.



Objects

Objects \> Objects - Create and maintain the objects that store business data.

Objects \> Attributes - View attributes across all objects. Commonly used for impact analysis when planning changes.

Objects \> Virtual Objects - Create and edit virtual objects, which provide read-only views combining data from other objects.

Objects \> Selection Groups - Create and edit selection groups, which provide a means to restrict data options based on the value of another attribute

Objects \> Summary Object Configuration - Create and edit summary objects, which provide read-only summaries or aggregates of data from an existing object



Process Configuration

Process Configuration \> Processes - Create and manage processes used for automation, imports, and calculations.

Process Configuration \> Filters - Create and manage filters used to select records for processing.

Process Configuration \> Process Inputs - View process inputs across the system.

Process Configuration \> Process Outputs - View configured outputs generated by processes.

Process Configuration \> Process Deletions - View records that may be deleted during process execution.

Process Configuration \> Process Reports - View process report outputs configured across the system

Layouts \> Applications - Create and configure applications.

Layouts \> Modules - Create the modules used to organise screens.

Layouts \> Screens - Create screens used to display object data.

Layouts \> Object Editors - Define how object attributes appear on screens.

Email Logs \> Outgoing Mail Logs - View outgoing email queue activity.

Units

Units \> Dimensions - Define and edit the category of units that exist, for example area, volume, density.

Units \> Units of Measure - Define and edit units of measurement that can be assigned to attribute values.



File Processing

File Processing \> File Handlers - Configure file import behaviour.

File Processing \> File Process Logs - Review logs from file import operations.



Validation

Validation \> Validation Formulae - Create and manage validation rules applied to object data.



Reports

Reports \> Report Files - View and download report files generated by processes.



System

System \> Data Retention Configuration - Create rules that control how long object data is retained.

System \> Lock Date - Create and manage lock dates that prevent edits to records dated on or before the lock date.

System \> Instance Details - Find the instance ID, email address and OData URL
