Feature Availability and Visibility

If a feature described in documentation or training material is not visible in your environment, this does not necessarily indicate a problem.

If a feature described in documentation or training material is not visible in your environment, this does not necessarily indicate a problem. There are several reasons why a feature may not appear.

Role-Based Permissions

Access to features, data, and configuration options is controlled by the roles assigned to your account. If you do not have the required role, certain features will not be visible to you.

Application Customisation

Your organisation's application may differ from the standard platform configuration. Configurators can rename, remove, or replace standard objects and fields, and add organisation-specific ones. A feature may exist under a different name, be implemented differently, or not be used in your configuration at all.

Feature Not Enabled

Your organisation may have chosen not to enable a particular feature, or to replace it with a customised alternative. Documentation describes general platform capabilities, which may not map exactly to what your specific application includes.

What to Do

If you believe you should have access to a feature but cannot find it, contact the Application Owner within your organisation. If the issue cannot be resolved internally, submit a request to your support contact.
